Start UpPhotography is something I love; always have and always will, although it's gotten pushed to the side many times in my life. Photography is a window into my world. My Canon 40D is a flashlight, an alarm clock, a string tied around my finger, a mirror, a friend. Yes, it's a machine, a tool, if you will. What it captures is a direct result of what I'm thinking (perhaps what I'm forgetting :P) or how I feel at the moment a photo is taken. Am I focused on something in particular? (No pun intended) There are so many times that I'll look at a picture and instead of remembering the scene within the frame, I'll remember what was going on in my mind and in my life at that time. So photography is an intensely personal experience for me, and the images produced relate not only to my surroundings but to my thoughts, as well. What is photography for you? |
